CityFibre - Temporary Road Closure -Lidsing Road, Lidsing -28th April 2025 (Maidstone District)
Due to works planned to be undertaken by CityFibre, it will be necessary to close part of Lidsing Road, Lidsing, from 28th April 2025 with estimated completion by 1st May 2025.
Lidsing Road, Lidsing, will be closed from the junction of Old Lidsing Road to the junction of Forge Lane, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic approaching on Lidsing Road is via Lidsing Road, Dunn Street, Dunn Street Road, Forge Lane and vice versa.
The alternative route for any through traffic approaching from Westfield Sole Road is via Westfield Sole Road, Walderslade Woods, Boxley Road, Yelsted Lane, Lidsing Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow fibre cable installation works to be carried out, works are undertaken by CityFibre.
